Imagine yourselves, hand in hand, landing at Kilimanjaro Airport, ready to experience a unique adventure, between the magic of a private safari in the wild lands of northern Tanzania and the paradise beaches of Zanzibar. From the moment you wake, the landscapes come alive: in Manyara National Park, the lions perched in the acacias dominate the plains, while buffalo, giraffes, blue monkeys and silver-cheeked hornbills embody the vibrant harmony of the local wildlife. You will then continue the magical exploration of the Ngorongoro Crater, a true natural jewel where the ‘Big Five’ live side by side in a spectacular setting. Then, depending on the season, a deep immersion in the heart of Serengeti or the Ndutu region to witness the great migration, a wild ballet stretching as far as the eye can see between predators and herds.
Each stage takes you to the heart of an intimate lodge, where the nights blend into the peaceful atmosphere of the savannah or volcanic hills, in a perfect balance between refined comfort and authentic immersion. Finally, after these days rich in discoveries and emotions, you will fly to Zanzibar: five days of romantic escape on immaculate beaches, alternating relaxation by the lagoon, snorkelling in turquoise waters and walks hand in hand to the rhythm of the waves. This 10-day / 9-night itinerary, by Off Road Tanzania, is designed as a carefully orchestrated score between wild nature and tropical serenity, for a honeymoon you will never forget.

Itinerary
Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport – Transfer

Welcome on arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer to the lodge located near the airport.
- Stage : Kilimanjaro Airport
- Accommodation : Moyoni Airport Lodge

Arusha – Manyara National Park – Karatu

Breakfast at the lodge. Departure for Manyara National Park.
From the main entrance, the road first winds through lush jungle where groups of baboons, numbering around a hundred, are active along the path, where blue monkeys blend into the trees and where the shy bushbucks move cautiously between the shadows and light of the undergrowth. The silvery-cheeked hornbills are striking with their enormous casques, as if they were about to go to war within the hour.
Full-day safari and picnic lunch under the umbrella acacias.
This Rift Valley park has an interesting diversity of wildlife to observe: elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, impalas and many others. The hippo pool attracts a large number of water birds. Manyara National Park sometimes offers a rare spectacle, that of lions perched, sometimes very high up, in the umbrella acacias. Will you be lucky enough to spot them up there?
At the end of the day, you will drive to the village of Mto Wa Mbu; if you ask your driver, you can visit the village.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Ngorongoro Forest Tented Lodge (or similar)
- Stages: Manyara National Park – Karatu
- Accommodation: Ngorongoro Forest Tented Lodge

Karatu - The Ngorongoro Crater - Ndutu

Breakfast at the lodge. Departure for the Ngorongoro Crater.
This day will be devoted to discovering this famous crater, considered the 8th Wonder of the World.
The crater is a vast caldera 20 km in inner diameter. It is home at its centre to incredibly rich wildlife, perfectly protected by a 600-metre-high wall.
Exceptional moment: it is one of the only places in Tanzania where you can see the “Big Five”: elephant, lion, rhinoceros, leopard and buffalo.
Picnic lunch on the edge of Ngoitokitok Pool.
More than 500 species of birds, resident and migratory, are observed in the crater. Lake Magadi, with its brackish waters, is often visited by pink flamingos. Hippopotamuses lounge in the freshwater pools while buffalo take mud baths.
Dinner and overnight at Ndutu Lodge in Ndutu from April to mid-December (or equivalent) or at Ndutu Wildlands Camp in Ndutu from January to March (or equivalent)

The Serengeti is the second largest national park in the country (14,763 km²). Famous for the annual migration of thousands of wildebeest, this park offers magnificent scenery: the grassy savannah of the endless plains in the south, the wooded and hilly regions in the west, the kopjes area (granite formations) in the east and the bush savannah in the north.
Picnic lunch during the safari.
In these vast plains with many permanent water sources, herds of herbivores followed by their predators offer an impressive spectacle. The Serengeti is so vast that you may be the only ones to witness the hunt carried out by the cheetah, whose favourite prey is Thomson's gazelle.
Dinner and overnight:

Ndutu or Serengeti – Karatu
